There's Only One September!!

And that’s a wrap. The regular season is over and the real season has begun. Two teams will be done by Sunday night, and then Semi-Finals of both the Championship and Consolation tourney’s will begin, but first, we have these match ups:

#3 Regulators vs. #6 Papi’s Space Cadets

It’s not a surprise that these two teams are facing each other in the first round, but the seeds are. For the past 6 weeks, this looked like the certain 4-5 match up. Regs finished strong, Papi did not, and here they sit. Papi has a tall order to knock off the defending champs since saves and SB’s are almost automatics for Regs, but if Papi can get some quality starts out of his pitchers, it could be tough for Regs to take any other pitching categories. Papi NEEDS Lester, Perez and Lackey to be awesome. Regs needs Greinke, Nolasco and Vazquez to be better.

#4 Jobu’s Hats for Bats vs. #5 L.L. Longball

Jobu sat in 2nd place in the CAN division forever, but slipped in the last week and dropped to #4 by a half game in the last week. Still, they’ve already started very strong in their playoff matchup with upstart Longball. If Jobu can get some fortunate streamed starters, this could be a blowout, but if some spot starters get hit, Longball could take the 3 pitching % categories. Give them steals and maybe one other category (average, runs?) and we could have an upset in the making.
